An interdisciplinary field-based science course in the “Origin and evolution of Antarctic ecosystems over time” will take place in Antarctica from February 12 to 28, 2011. Open to Carleton University science students in Earth Sciences, Biology, Geography, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Integrated Science or other interested students, this field course is offered in collaboration with the Canadian Museum of Nature and Students on Ice. This course will be taught during the expedition of the M/V Ushuaia from southern Argentina to the Antarctic Peninsula. The expedition is led by Students on Ice (seehttp://www.uantarctic.org/).
