Dr. Grünberg was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry at Carleton University from 1969 to1972.
Dr. Grunberg's lecture, entitled “Layered magnetic structures: Spin dynamics and spin torque switching across nanocontacts”, will take place in the Azrieli Theatre, Room 302. Prior to the start of his lecture, President Roseann O’Reilly Runte will present Dr. Grünberg with an honorary doctorate from Carleton.
