Physics students to build a model of the ATLAS detector - out of LEGO pieces

Undergraduate students from the physics department will be building a model of the ATLAS detector out of Lego pieces! Just over 9,500 Lego pieces will be used and the model is about 1/50 the size of the real detector. Instructions to build the model are available online. Drop by during the day and watch the students' progress on Friday, September 21 starting at 9 am in Herzberg 3125.
