Biology professor and former PhD student publish paper in the Royal Society's Biology Letters

Carleton Biology professor Sue Bertram and Lauren Fitzsimmons (former PhD student of Professor Bertram’s and currently a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Windsor) have co-authored a paper which was published July 10 in the Royal Society’s Biology Letters. The paper covers the research they have conducted examining ‘how the presence and sex of an audience influenced aggression and victory display behaviour in field-captured and laboratory-reared field crickets.’  

The Royal Society is a fellowship of the most eminent scientists in the world that aims to promote and support the very best in science today. Biology Letters, produced under the Society’s publishing arm, publishes articles on cutting-edge research.
