Environmental Science and Biology professor Steven Cooke quoted in National Geographic and awarded large research grant

Professor Cooke joins the debate in National Geographic on whether the seafood on your plate felt pain prior to its demise. Read the full article here.

Professor Cooke also recently received a Strategic Project Grant for more than $335,000 from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). This grant will allow Dr. Cooke’s group to study the fish movements and habitat use in Toronto Harbour. Read the full press release here.
