Co-op and Career Services is reaching out to the Carleton University community to consider hiring a co-op student for the summer term (May 1 – Aug. 31).
Our co-op students are the best – we know that. We want to give our students the opportunity to solve real-world problems. What better place to do so than in their own backyard, alongside some of the best researchers and administrators in the country!
Co-operative education is a paid, full-time work opportunity for students admitted to the program with a ‘B’ average or higher. Supervisors need only meet with a co-op staff member once during the work term and submit an evaluation of the student’s performance at the end of the term.

Here’s what one co-op student had to say about their experience: “It is because of co-operative education that I now feel confident going into a workplace post-graduation. The education I have received through co-op can’t express how happy I am to return to school, finish, and start my life in the workforce.”
