The Office of Student Affairs is in the process of recruiting students to fill volunteer positions on the Peer Conduct Board for the 2013-2014 academic year. The Peer Conduct Board is comprised of 16 undergraduate and graduate students forming two boards, who hear offences under the Student Rights and Responsibilities Policy and, in some cases, Residence Contract violations. The boards are advised by a professional staff member, and are trained by the Director of Student Affairs. This is a great opportunity for students to make a positive contribution to the Carleton Community and gain transferable skills that can be useful in both the classroom and their professional experiences.
Applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on March 8 and must be submitted to 430 Tory Building. Students can download the application form here or pick one up outside of the Office of Student Affairs (430 Tory).
