Naomi Cappuccino - Using imported moths to target invasive vines

Associate Professor in biology and Associate Dean of Undergraduate Affairs at Carleton University, Naomi Cappuccino, along with entomologist Richard Casagrande from the university of Rhode Island have been working together to study the use of the Hypena Opulenta moth for consumption of invasive dog-strangling vines in Canada. 500 of these natural enemies have been release near Ottawa as biological controls for these toxic vines.
