This prestigious exchange program gives Canadian students with a CGPA of at least 10.0 an opportunity to study in the United States for one semester or a full academic year.
Successful students will be awarded $5,000 US per semester to help cover the costs of studying as well as additional funds to help pay the cost of health insurance. The Killam Fellowship will also cover the expenses for students to attend a Fall Orientation in Ottawa as well as a Spring Seminar in Washington. In addition, all Fellows are eligible to apply for a mobility grant of up to $800 US to undertake an educational field trip to gain a broader understanding of the culture of the host country.
Student applying for the Open Exchange Program may submit their applications directly to the Foundation. The deadline for the open competition is January 31, 2014.
