Be part of the impact both nationally and internationally with the Student Experience Office’s Alternative Spring Break program! We are excited to announce that the application process for this year’s program is now open!
Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is an extraordinary service-learning initiative which connects students to national and international partners, enabling them to engage in meaningful community service and critical reflection, while also developing a better understanding of their roles as global citizens. The program begins in October and runs until March, as students participate in pre-departures, fundraising initiatives and Days of Service to prepare them for their trip. The trips, which this year include New Orleans, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras and Banff, all take place over Reading Week from February 14 to 22, 2015.
Participant applications are due by Wednesday, October 8th at noon. Applications are available online.
