The Senate Committee on Student Awards has one vacancy for a faculty member. This vacancy is not specific to a Faculty.
The nomination process is to send an email containing a self-nomination OR an email of nomination AND an email from the candidate accepting the nomination to the Clerk of Senate at clerkofsenate [at] carleton [dot] ca no later than Noon on Friday, June 13, 2014. An election, if required, will be held at the June Senate meeting.

Further information: Regular committee activities will include reviewing the terms of references for new awards and any revised terms for existing awards. This meeting is generally conducted electronically and occurs once or twice a year. Committee members also meet for a full day at the end of March/early April to determine Prestige Scholarship recipients for the upcoming academic year.
If/when required, the committee will meet to review policies and/or decisions relating to the administration of undergraduate awards. Should a project or study that has been initiated, pertinent to the University’s undergraduate scholarship and bursary programs, the committee will meet on a more regular basis.
