Postdoctoral Researcher Positions in Wireless Communications

Multiple full-time postdoctoral researcher positions in the area of wireless communications and communications security are available at Western University, Canada.

A Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field is required. Initial appointment is for one year starting immediately, and may be renewable after the first year. Strong track record of research productivity is highly desirable.  Experience in prototype development, student supervision, and web design will be an added advantage. 

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on exciting research topics in a dynamic environment at Western University, and will have ample opportunities for university-industry research collaborations.

Prior research experiences in adaptive wireless systems, communications security, and emerging communications technologies and applications are of interest. Applicants should have relevant research background in at least one of the following research fields: 

  • 5G communication system
  • Heterogeneous network
  • Relay and cooperative communications
  • Massive MIMO
  • Physical layer security
  • Adaptive communications
  • Energy and spectrum efficient communications
  • Location-aware communications and distributed systems
