Jennifer Magel was awarded the Ontario B.A.S.S. Nation Student Poster Award for her undergraduate thesis poster that was presented at the 2015 Ontario Chapter of the American Fisheries Society (AFS-OC) Annual Meeting in Orillia, Ontario. Jennifer is currently an undergraduate student in the Biology program (Ecology, Evolution and Behaviour) working in Professor Steven Cooke’s lab. Her thesis work focuses on the effects of physical habitat complexity and predator environment on the stress physiology of checkered pufferfish. Congratulations Jennifer!
