The Discovery Centre is Launching a Summer Design Contest for You!

Design a new, innovative object for the Discovery Centre such as art, furniture, or useful tools. How about a table with raven legs, or a picture frame to surround a digital screen? The ideas are endless!

No need to be a computer wiz. The contest is open to the entire Carleton community. Hand sketches, graphic designs or 3D models accepted. Be creative!

Who: Individuals or groups can make submissions. The contest is Carleton-wide and open to current & incoming students, faculty & staff

What:  Sketches, Designs, or 3D Models of your object. Complete submissions requirements are listed at www.carleton.ca/discoverycentre

When:  Contest will run from May 4th - July 31st

Where: Email your submission to 3D [dot] printing [at] carleton [dot] ca with “design contest” in the subject line

 Prizes: 

• Your design 3D printed and put on display
• 100 hours of FREE 3D printing
• $$ on your Campus Card
• Your design could be published online
