The SSSC is running a Green proposal contest to help improve and increase sustainability literacy in the Faculty of Science. With such bright ideas, I believe we can contribute to making Carleton GREEN.
The contest will run through the month of February and we would encourage you to submit 5 points on what can be implemented and/or improved at Carleton in the name of sustainability. Your proposal will be reviewed and put forward to the office of the Dean of Science. For most innovative ideas, we will be rewarding the winners a solar phone charger and a $75 gift certificate to a restaurant of your choice.
The word sustaina(bility) is mentioned 28 times in the Strategic Integrated Plan for Carleton http://carleton.ca/sip/ . It really clearly indicates that it is very important to Carleton. Yet, a lot can still be done…
