Carleton University has officially launched its new Institute for Data Science, which will lead the development of data science initiatives in each university faculty.
“I believe that studying the data that is available will help us arrive at wisdom, which is the process in which all of us are engaged,” said Carleton President Roseann O’Reilly Runte.
All Carleton faculty and staff are required to complete a number of mandatory training modules related to AODA, Workplace Violence and Harassment Prevention, as well as Worker Health and Safety Awareness, (and Supervisor Health and Safety Awareness, if you are a supervisor!).
In an effort to ensure all faculty and staff have completed the required training, we will be sending out regular reminders to the Carleton community.

On March 23, construction will begin on Library Road, near the parking lot beside the Mackenzie Building, to install a permanent gate that will close the road to through traffic. Access for emergency vehicles will not be impacted. A bicycle lane will allow cyclists to access the road.
