There is no greater way to learn human anatomy than examining real, human tissue. Carleton University does not have the facilities for human cadavers; however, plastinated models are the current state-of-the-art alternative. These specimens, individually prepared from donated human tissue, are resistant to wear and tear, are non-toxic and represent the human form with unprecedented detail and accuracy. They are a brilliant teaching and learning tool.
